‘LIME AND LIME KILNS’  –  An evening lecture by sculptor RORY YOUNG

A graduate in fine art and self-trained in masonry and carving, Rory Young designs and carves statuary, memorials, and architectural works of art in stone and marble. He is a member of the Art Workers’ Guild, the Georgian Group, the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings and the Fabric Advisory Committee of St Paul’s Cathedral.

He is the author of publications on the use of lime and traditional building repair methods. He gives lectures and demonstrations to universities, professional bodies, and special interest groups.
