Starting on 23rd November 2022, St Colmon Kirk Hall has been running a Cosy Space on Wednesday afternoons. The weekly coffee morning now extends into a free lunch, with the hall being open during the afternoon as a heated social space. Since the event began we have had between 20 and 30 people for lunch each week, with a wide range of ages attending both the coffee mornings and lunches, and the scheme is set to run throughout the winter. We would like to express our thanks to VASA (Voluntary Action South Ayrshire) and Colmonell Community Association for providing funding for the Cosy Spaces scheme, and helping to set it up. Also to Colmonell Community Council for further funding. And thanks, too, to all those involved in organising and cooking for the event! Running till 5th April 2023.
