Offerings

Our Church building may be closed but the work of ministry and mission still goes on in many new ways and especially through the essential caring work of Crossreach. We also have bills to pay for the maintenance and running costs of our buildings.

Please would you consider the following options and how you might continue to give your offerings for the work of the Church while traditional services are not taking place.

  1. Online donations: Anyone who wishes to make a donation either to the national funds of the Church of Scotland or to an individual congregation can do so by visiting this page, https://www.churchofscotland.org.uk/donate and by clicking on the donate button. All donations made to an individual congregation will be returned to that congregation, thus enabling members and adherents to continue to make their regular offering or to make a special donation to enable the Church’s work to continue at this difficult time.
  2. Standing Orders: Please contact Claire Pirrie if you would like a mandate form to send to your bank and set up a standing order.
  3. Freewill Envelopes: If you are unable for whatever reason to make your offerings in any other way while buildings are closed then please consider putting your normal offering aside each week and then give the appropriate amount when buildings reopen.

Please contact Claire Pirrie on 01465 841644 if you would like to discuss any of these matters or anything of concern at this time.
